COVID-19 Policies and Procedures

The Puerto Rican government responded quickly to COVID-19, placing the island under lockdown on March 12th and showing global leadership in their health screening process for arriving passengers at its airports including temperature checks and COVID-19 tests.  There have been relatively low rates of infection on the island, particularly in Rincón and The Beach Pad is working hard to contribute to it staying that way, recently receiving the Health and Safety Seal from the Puerto Rican Tourism Company

In compliance with local government regulations all guests are required to:

  • Fill out a health declaration upon arrival. Each guest must declare if experiencing health symptoms of any kind and report if he/she has been in direct contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days. Guests must state if they are required to complete a self-quarantine or isolation during their stay based on medical recommendations, state, or federally imposed guidelines.

  • Wear a mask while in public areas. We ask that guests please bring their own masks.  We have a very limited supply of disposable masks available upon request.

  • Practice social distancing.

  • Wash hands often and for at least 20 seconds

  • Monitor for symptoms and self-quarantine if not feeling well.
