COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
COVID-19 IN PUERTO RICO
The Puerto Rican government responded quickly to COVID-19, placing the island under lockdown on March 12th. There have been low rates of infection on the island, especially in Rincón.
In compliance with the Puerto Rican Government, all guests are required to fill out a health declaration prior to arrival. Puerto Rico requires everyone to wear a mask while outside or inside a business. Guests are responsible for bringing and wearing their own masks but we do have a limited supply available upon request.
We have always been committed to providing the highest standard of cleanliness at The Beach Pad. Our reviews typically include phrases like ‘sparkling clean’. During this pandemic, we have implemented an even more stringent cleaning protocol, created by our owner who has more than 20 years of experience in occupational health and safety. Our cleaning standards go above and beyond the standards provided by the CDC and Puerto Rican government. These changes include, but are not limited to: mandatory 48 hours between stays during which no one enters the room, hand sanitizer provided in every room, and additional sterilization of high-touch areas like door knobs and handles. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests, staff and community.
