COVID-19 Policies and Procedures

COVID-19 IN PUERTO RICO
The Puerto Rican government has implemented additional travel requirements including requiring arriving passengers to provide a vaccination passports or a negative COVID-19 test result that was taken within the last 72 hours .
The Beach Pad adheres to all local, CDC and WHO requirements and recommendations and received the Health and Safety Seal from the Puerto Rican Tourism Company and is committed to adhering to the Enhanced Clean protocols set by Airbnb, which was developed in partnership with leading experts in hospitality and medical hygiene .
GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
In compliance with local government regulations all guests are required to:

Fill out a health declaration upon arrival. Each guest must declare if experiencing health symptoms of any kind and report if he/she has been in direct contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days.

Wear a mask while in public areas. We ask that guests please bring their own masks. We have a very limited supply of disposable masks available upon request.

Practice social distancing.

Wash hands often and for at least 20 seconds

Monitor for symptoms and self-quarantine if not feeling well.
CLEANING POLICY
We have always been committed to providing the highest standard of cleanliness at The Beach Pad. Our reviews typically include phrases like ‘sparkling clean’. During this pandemic, we have implemented an even more stringent cleaning protocol, created by our owner who has more than 20 years of experience in occupational health and safety. These cleaning protocols will remain the norm throughout the pandemic and beyond.
These changes include, but are not limited to:

EPA approved hand sanitizer and disinfectants provided in every room.

Hand soap provided at every sink.

All cleaning staff is required to wear a mask, single-use gloves, and closed shoes when servicing each room.

All outside doors and windows are opened to increase air circulation in the area when servicing the unit.

Consistent sterilization of all personal hard surfaces and high-touch areas including doorknobs, handles, keyless entry keypads, stairway railings, countertops, tables, chairs, lamps, dresser drawer handles, light switches, thermostats, refrigerators, collaterals (magazines, brochures), remote controls, television, trash bin, iron handle, hangers, luggage rack, faucet, toilet seat and handles, shower head, stove buttons and surfaces, oven, microwave and all beach gear.

A high-level disinfection process used to collect and wash laundry in accordance with CDC laundry guidelines.

All towels and linens in rooms including unused linens are replaced after each guest’s stay.

All cookware, glasses, cutlery, serving utensils, coffee makers cleaned and disinfected after each stay.

Health and safety signage is placed prominently throughout the property.
