A fantastic variety of delicious restaurants with many vegetarian and vegan options can be found at many restaurants and markets around town.  Options include local Puerto Rican Cuisine, Thai, Japanese, Brazilian, Italian, American, and more! Within walking distance from The Beach Pad, there are four different places to eat, with many more options a short drive away.

World Class Surfing

Rincón is a world-renowned surfing destination, and it is known for its consistent waves. Several great surf spots exist, including Sandy Beach, Dome’s Beach, Steps Beach, and Maria's Beach. Surf season runs from November through April, and there is even a surf school for beginners conveniently located next door to The Beach Pad.

Swimming Beaches

In addition to the surf beaches, there are beaches just around the “corner” that are much calmer year-round, including The Marina, Rincón Public Beach, Los Almendros Beach, and Doña Lala Beach. Outside of Surf season (April-November), all the beaches in the area are calm most days.

Spectacular Sunsets

Rincón is known as “the town of beautiful sunsets.” The town is located on a bluff overlooking the ocean so you can enjoy stunning sunset views every evening. There are several great places to watch the sunset, including the Lighthouse, various beaches, and several restaurants.
